Lake Wallowa

What a wonderful vacation we had....we met my parents, brother and his family at Lake Wallowa, Oregon. It was amazing, the lake was beautiful, the town adorable, lots of fun to be had and even deer that would walk up to you and allow you to feed them. Gwen and Vann had a blast playing with their cousins Henry and Charlie. It was great to spend time with my mom and dad and Brandon and Jessica. Let's just say we were pretty bummed to head back to Boise today. Looking forward to next year!

California Fun and Sun

This past weekend we headed down to California for our friends Mike & Kristen's wedding. Both Jeff and Vann were in the wedding, so it was a real honor to experience their special day with them. Now if only we could get them to move to Boise...

We were able to stay with Jeff's grandma Lorraine, and she loved spending time with the kids. We also got to see Jeff's parents, sister and our niece and nephew. Vann had a blast playing with his cousins. It was a great weekend and nice to see the ocean!

We came back to Boise and the weather was starting to heat up, which meant...slip n' slide time!!! Vann and Gwen had a blast soaking up some rays and playing in the water!

Another FUN Visit

We had an awesome visit with Popi Rod and Grandma Neesie. It is so fun to see Vann and Gwen with them....we only wish we lived closer so we could spend more time with them.

March of Dimes March for Babies 2013

We could not have asked for a more beautiful day to go out and support the March of Dimes March for Babies walk in honor of Mr. Vann! It was a fantastic event with superheros, SpongeBob, Star Wars, and many others...Gwen was not a fan of anyone dressed up in a costume! Vann loved seeing the poster he made along Baby Blvd., and even got to give a high five out to Dr. Snyder who took care of him in the NICU. What a wonderful day with my wonderful family!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The weather was beautiful here in Boise and we spent a lot of time outside. This past week was our spring break...I got to spend a lot of time with the kids and NO homework, which always makes my day. Jeff worked a lot, but we still tried to enjoy our time outside. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Getting Big!

As you can see Gwen still LOVES her brother! She lights up every time he is in the room. She does get a little mad when he takes things away from her. It has been awhile since we have taken their pictures together, so today was the day. When Jeff and I were looking through them we realized how old Vann looks and we got a little sad. He is officially a BIG BOY! 

Family Hike

Now that Gwen is old enough to start going on adventures, we decided to take in the nice day and go for a hike. Actually, I really needed to take a break from school work and hang out with the family. Vann was so excited to go search for bears and scare me with snakes....good thing, we did not run into either, ha! He had the BEST time, he is looking forward to going again soon. Nice thing about Boise is there are A LOT of trails to hike.
